Yes, the current registration fee is $40 per child due upon enrollment. We allow two weeks for payment of the registration fee and are flexible with families with more than one child.
Yes, your child can bring his/her favorite blanket to school, however their favorite toy should be left at home to prevent damage or loss of the item. We offer special events where children can share items with their classmates.
Beginning at two years old our staff will help potty train children based on how the parents are training them.
Yes! During your registration process, we do an interview with you to learn the techniques you use at home to soothe your child. Whenever possible, we use the same techniques that work for your child at home.
Yes! All children have their own cubby for their items located in each of the classrooms.
We want your child to be healthy while at Bright Minds Family Day Care and Preschool. To ensure he/she stays healthy, we require that children do not attend school until they are fever-free for 24-hours – this helps keep your child and their classmates healthy.
Yes! A member of our team will be supervising your child at all times – even during quiet or nap time. Bright Minds Family Day Care also adheres to Infant Safe Sleep guidelines and has implemented other policies for older children to have the safest possible environment while in our care.
Our facility is cleaned everday using a safe disenfactant, including all toys and equipment, classrooms, bathrooms, and offices.
We adhere to the Florida Department of Health and Environment (FDHE) statutes of being inspected yearly. Our Care Team also routinely inspects equipment and supplies for use by children while at our child care center.
Bright Minds Family Day Care and Preschool has implemented stringent security measures to protect against unauthorized access to the classroom cameras. All of our web cam systems use encryption to protect usernames and passwords.
Bright Minds Family Day Care and Preschool #1 priority is the safety of children in our care including monthly fire drills, routine tornado procedures and Care Team certification
Bright Minds Family Day Care and Preschool has procedures in place in case of a tornado, flood or other severe weather. If weather becomes severe, we will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of children in our care.
